The amount of work varies a lot between projects, so the estimator does not give a range. We first understand what you need and the scope, then give you a written quote that itemizes labor and any other costs. Work starts once you approve it.

How do you price custom software?
Software projects are quoted individually based on the requirements; the online estimator does not cover them. Tell us what you need, and once the scope is clear we send a written quote. Servers, app store accounts and third-party services are billed at actual cost.
Who owns the code and the accounts?
Ownership of the code, servers and app store accounts is set out in the quote and contract. We usually recommend opening the server, domain and app store accounts in your company’s name, so a change of developer later does not leave you stuck.
Can you build a WeChat mini-program?
Yes, we can build it. A mini-program has to be registered on the WeChat platform under your company and pass its review, and the rules for companies outside China differ from those for Chinese companies, so we confirm with you that registration is possible before development starts.
Can you connect our POS and our online store?
It depends on whether those systems offer a data interface (API) or an export. We first find out what each system allows, then tell you what is feasible; some systems only open up to the vendor’s own add-ons, and if so we say so plainly.
How long will it take?
It depends on the features and how quickly each stage is tried and approved. We split the work into stages and set out the content and rough schedule of each in the written quote; if the schedule shifts, we tell you early.
