Our team is based in Flushing, Queens, and comes to your shop, office or home. Software and settings problems can also be handled remotely.

  • Quote first, then work

You get a written quote after an on-site assessment. Work starts only when you approve, and any extra time is discussed first.

Overview

Your registers, phones, cameras, printers and daily work all run on the network. We look at the space, plan cable runs, the rack location and how many access points you need and where; install and configure switches, routers, firewalls and Wi-Fi; and keep the POS, cameras and customer Wi-Fi apart. If the network you have keeps dropping or crawling, we come and find out why: the cabling, the equipment, the settings or the internet line itself.

Who it is for

  • Small offices, clinics, and law and accounting firms
  • Restaurants, supermarkets and retail stores
  • Multi-floor stores, warehouses and other hard-to-cover spaces
  • Businesses moving into or fitting out new premises
  • Large or multi-story homes with weak Wi-Fi

What we do

The work this service usually covers. The exact scope is set out in the written quote after an on-site assessment.

  1. Cabling and rack cleanup

New network drops, patch panels and switches installed, racks tidied and every cable labeled, so finding a line or adding one later is easy.

  2. Wi-Fi coverage planning

Access points placed for the floor plan, floors and walls to reduce dead spots, all under one network name so devices stay connected as people move around.

  3. Guest and business networks kept apart

Customer Wi-Fi, staff computers, the POS and cameras on separate networks (VLANs), keeping customers’ devices away from your registers and files.

  4. Firewall and VPN remote access

Basic security on routers and firewalls: default passwords changed, unneeded ports closed, firmware updated. VPN set up when you need to reach office computers from home.

  5. Backup internet line

For businesses that cannot go offline, a second broadband line or a 4G/5G backup so you can keep taking payments and orders when the main line is down.

  6. Troubleshooting

Dropouts, slow speeds, devices that will not connect, and printers or card readers that keep going offline, diagnosed and fixed on site.

How it works

Nothing starts until you approve the quote, and parts or equipment are bought only with your OK.

  1. Site survey

We look at the space, the floors and the equipment you have, test signal and speed, and note which devices need a connection and where cable drops are needed.

  2. Plan and written quote

The quote lists the number of drops, how cables will run and any equipment to buy. Equipment is bought at cost with the receipt, only with your approval.

  3. Installation and setup

Cabling, installation and setup can be scheduled outside your opening hours. If the site turns out differently from what we expected (a wall we cannot get through, say), we talk to you before going on.

  4. Testing, handover and an itemized invoice

Every drop is tested, and you get a short write-up of equipment locations, admin accounts and Wi-Fi passwords. The invoice itemizes labor, the trip charge and any pass-through costs.

Questions

Common questions about cost, scheduling and scope.

Do I need to buy the equipment first?

No. We can assess the space first and recommend equipment that fits; once you approve, we buy it at cost and give you the receipt. We also check whether the routers and switches you already have can stay.

Can you run cables in a rented store or office?

Usually, but please check with your landlord or building management first whether drilling and cabling are allowed; some buildings also restrict when work can be done. During the assessment we look at the options with you, such as running cables above the ceiling, in surface raceways or through existing conduit, and choose the least disruptive one.

Is slow internet always the provider’s fault?

Not always. Often it is an old router, access points in the wrong place or too many devices. We check the network inside your premises first; if the problem really is the internet line, the provider has to repair it, and we write up what we found so your call with them is easier.

We have locations on Long Island or in New Jersey too. Can you cover them?

Yes. We serve all five NYC boroughs, Long Island out to Riverhead, northern and central New Jersey, the lower Hudson Valley and coastal Connecticut to New Haven. Each location’s trip charge is based on its own distance. Farther areas need advance booking, and visits more than 35 miles away one way have a 2-hour labor minimum.

How is the cost worked out?

The trip charge is based on round-trip mileage on the Google Maps fastest route. Labor is billed by actual time, with a 1-hour minimum per visit and 15-minute increments after that. Tolls, the Manhattan congestion toll and parking are passed through at actual cost with no markup and itemized; parts are at cost with the receipt and bought only with your approval. You get a written quote after an on-site assessment. See the Pricing page for details.
