How pricing worksAll five NYC boroughs, Long Island, northern and central New Jersey, the lower Hudson Valley and coastal Connecticut. Farther areas: please book in advance.
See the service areaCracked screen, touch not responding, a battery that needs charging three times a day, a cable that won’t charge, callers who can’t hear you, or a phone that went into water? We come to you, so there’s no trip to a repair shop. Devices we work on include iPhone, iPad, Samsung and other Android phones and tablets, depending on the model and the parts available. We confirm the model and the problem, explain the part options and how they differ, and buy the part at cost with the receipt once you agree. We check the device’s functions with you before and after the repair.
The work this service usually covers. The exact scope is set out in the written quote after an on-site assessment.
Cracked, flickering, bleeding or unresponsive phone and tablet screens replaced as a complete display assembly. Tablets depend on the model and the parts available.
Replaced when battery life drops, the percentage jumps around, the device shuts off, or a swollen battery lifts the screen. Stop using and charging a swollen battery.
For a cable that won’t connect, weak or crackly sound, or callers who can’t hear you, we clean out lint and debris first and replace the part only if it is actually damaged.
Cameras that won’t focus, show spots or have cracked lens covers. Back glass only on models we confirm in advance can be done on site; some need bench equipment, and we tell you so.
Turn the device off and don’t charge it. We open it, clean moisture and corrosion and see which parts are affected. Whether it can be repaired, and whether data can be saved, is only known after the check; we promise neither.
Freezing, restart loops, storage full, failed updates, apps crashing. If a factory reset is needed, we confirm with you and back up your data first.
Nothing starts until you approve the quote, and parts or equipment are bought only with your OK.
Send the model (it’s in Settings) and a photo of the problem, and we check which parts are available. Farther areas: please book in advance.
We explain how the part options differ and what they roughly cost. Once you choose and approve, we buy the part at cost with the receipt. For water damage or an unclear fault, we check first and choose the part after.
We check the device first and confirm the problem and the written quote before any work. If the fault turns out to be different from what we expected, we stop and talk it through with you.
We test every function with you. The invoice itemizes labor, the trip charge, pass-through costs and the parts receipt.
Enter an address or ZIP code and choose the service to see a rough range. Tolls, the congestion toll and parking are extra at actual cost; the final figure is the written quote after an on-site assessment.
Common questions about cost, scheduling and scope.
Replacement parts vary in source and quality, which shows in display quality, battery capacity, availability and price. We explain the options and how they differ, and you decide. Parts are at cost with the purchase receipt, with no markup, and bought only with your approval.
On recent iPhones, a message about the part may appear in Settings after a screen, battery or camera replacement, and features such as True Tone or battery health may be affected, depending on where the part comes from. Everyday use is normally unaffected. We explain this before you choose a part.
Normally a screen, battery or charging port repair doesn’t touch your data. Repairs can still go wrong, so if the device still works, back it up to iCloud or your Google account first. If a software problem needs a factory reset, we confirm with you and back up first. For testing, we ask you to unlock the phone yourself; we don’t need to keep your passcode.
Turn it off, don’t charge it, don’t keep pressing buttons to see if it starts, don’t heat it with a hair dryer, and putting it in rice isn’t recommended either. Contact us and we’ll open it, inspect it and clean it. Water damage varies a lot: some devices work normally after cleaning, some need a part replaced, and some can’t be repaired. We can’t promise a repair or your data before the check. If the phone still turns on, back up what matters first; if it won’t turn on and you need the data, see Data recovery.
Check with Apple or your carrier first, as a repair under your plan may cost you less. A third-party repair may also affect the service you can get from them later. If you’d still like us to do it after that, contact us and we’ll arrange a visit.
The trip charge is based on round-trip mileage on the Google Maps fastest route. Labor is billed by actual time, with a 1-hour minimum per visit and 15-minute increments after that. Tolls, the Manhattan congestion toll and parking are passed through at actual cost with no markup and itemized; parts are at cost with the receipt and bought only with your approval. You get a written quote after an on-site assessment. See the Pricing page for details.
